Jerry & Christie Blanchett

Jerry and Christie became the youth pastors at Rainsville Church of God in fall of 1997. They have been in the youth ministry for 10 years and have been involved with many different ministries in the church throughout the years which include children's ministries, boys and girls clubs, puppets, clowns, drama team, music, sound technician, radio broadcast producer, Sunday school teacher, and various other programs. They truly love youth ministry and have a heart that is sold out to seeing young people's lives changed.

Jerry and Christie have been married since 1995 and have two sons, Joshua and Daxton. Jerry is a graduate of Plainview High School and has also taken several classes with Lee University. In addition to his responsibilities as youth pastor and radio broadcast producer, he is a supervisor at Renfro Incorporated. Christie is a graduate also at Plainview High School and has completed two years at Northeast College and is a certified youth leader of the Church of God. She is employed by the HIM department at Dekalb Regional Medical Center.
