Here at Rainsville Church of God, we know how important it is for children to learn to pray and worship God. Through song, children can learn to do this effectively. We are a dynamic group of young singers from ages 4 up to age 14. We meet Wednesdays from 6:30 – 7:10 pm. We learn to sing and worship God together. The children are taught proper breathing techniques, drama, and harmonies in a fun atmosphere. They work with leaders of the church who are also their friends and mentors. Not only is the program educational, a time of joyous fellowship, a time of bonding with friends, a time to pray for specific needs in each of their lives, it is also a time of refueling for God.

To open the door to a communitive relationship with God is a powerful gift. Bring your child to class and let them join us in experiencing the lessons and love of God in a fun and memorable way!

Joyful Noise Choir

We at Rainsville Church of God know how important music is to bring us into an atmosphere of praise and worship. It’s also vitally important to encourage children to take an active part in this special ministry.

Our choir is for ages 9-12 and we practice on Wednesday nights from 6:30 until 7:15. The choir is taught proper breathing techniques, persistence and a challenge to worship with their peers. We maintain a variety of ways to implement this with dramas, signing, and the dowel rod movement, along with singing.

We try to provide an environment that the choir can relax and be themselves, while teaching them the foundation of the purpose of the allotted time.
